Keeping options alive

Whether court-ordered, required under contract or ad-hoc, mediation has played a globally significant role in ADR for many years. Tim has acted for parties in some of the most complex domestic and international mediations.

He is a CEDR (UK) qualified mediator and with qualifications in both law and commerce, with a major in accounting and financial management he brings strong financial and business acumen to a mediation.

For high net worth family issues he combines strong financial skills with a deep understanding and empathy of the needs of the parties.

Having worked as a senior executive for over 10 years in three different roles at ANZ Bank, he understands the imperatives of Boards and C-Suite executives and is adept at exploring suitable commercial options.

He has extensive experience in commercial, family, insolvency, mining, aviation, insurance, sport and banking disputes. Most recently he acted for one of the parties in the mediation involving the cancellation of the Commonwealth Games 2026 by the host government.
